After the Rising

A new large-scale Hill Country painting is currently in progress. Inspired by the aftermath of the floods and by the people who searched, rescued, helped, and continued showing up for their community, the finished work will be revealed here when it is complete.

The original and any signed reproduction plans will be announced only after the painting is finished and professionally reproduced.

Murals & Commercial Work

A portrait of New Braunfels & Gruene.

Completed in December 2021 at iCRYO New Braunfels, this large circular acrylic mural brings together the river, Gruene Hall, the Gruene water tower, Wurstfest, and the landmarks and scenery that give the area its character. Joseph designed the composition from the ground up, with Wurstfest-related imagery included following concept approval from the Wurstfest board.

Why I Paint

“I paint Texas stories—but above all, I paint for my daughter.”

Painting with purpose.

Fatherhood gave Joseph’s work a deeper purpose. Painting became a constructive way to keep building—to work with discipline, create stability, and make something meaningful from the experiences that shape his life.

He wants every piece to stand on its own, but behind the work is something simple: keep showing up, keep creating, and keep building a steady, meaningful future for the life he shares with his daughter.
